The Problem
There are many causes of performance degradation or complete fouling of mist nozzles.
Effects of water hardness, lime scale and evaporation of water on the nozzle surface (during periods of non-use) can contribute to degraded nozzle performance. If you suspect poor performance due to micro-fouling of the nozzle orifice, re-opening the orifice to original size may restore the water path and nozzle performance. In many cases, the root cause of poor mist nozzle performance is occlusion.
Using the mist nozzle repair kit and illustrated instructions to remove occlusion may restore the desired nozzle performance without costly nozzle replacement. The Basics
How to clean mist nozzles.
